This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Caps Lock Minimizes screen while gaming

    Asus G53jw-a1 windows 7. While playing BFBC2, if I accidentally hit the Caps Lock it would minimize the screen and then I have to mouse point and click on the minimized screen and it comes back to full screen, Very annoying!
    After hours of thread searching I found one that worked!

    The first part of that post talks about Reg Edit.. I didn't do that..
    It was fixed for me by opening Task Manager going under processes and closing a process called "BTTray.exe" . As the thread says near the end of that page.
    Hopefully someone can benefit from this Info.
