    Catalyst 11.5 to hotfix assistance please

    Hi everyone

    I have the catalyst 11.5 driver installed on my laptop and wish to install the 11.5b hotfix. Do I uninstall the 11.5 drivers first and then install the hotfix, or do I install the hotfix over the 11.5 drivers w/o uninstall?

    Has anyone experience any negative issues with this hotfix?

    I am aware that 11.6 is out, but release notes indicate problems with it and Photoshop CS5 which I rely on daily. So I want to take a pass on this update until those issues are resolved.

    Uninstall with the AMD Installer, reboot, and then run it again and install.

    Yep, no need to use ATI crap cleaner or driver sweeper unless you are experience problems after reinstalling.
