Hey, guys I just reformatted my entire computer with a new SSD, does anyone know which drivers I should be downloading specifically for best performance for my G73JH-BST7?

I am confused I see the 10.11 Catalyst Driver then there's updated Drivers for like 11.10 or something, which ones should I stick with?

The reason why I am asking is because my Battlefield 3 game cannot join any games, it just stays stuck at "Joining game" and nothing else happens.

OP the answer depends upon what version of VideoBios you have, please install Hwinfo32 Or 64 and let us know what version you have.
You need 012.020.000.032.038352 to run the latest.

12.10 is the latest version, I assume you got it from the AMD site, If you are having issues you may want to try a clean install -
http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...st-11-2-mobility-released-get-yours-here.html See how to setup in first post, just substitue 11.2 references with 12.10

Chastity, I did download the latest one, and after I did, my screen resolution looked funny. My resolution options were 3 of them, and the highest one made my screen look horrible, I had to delete the most recent driver to get my 1600x900 resolution back. I am confused cause should the most up to date drier for the 5870 have that resolution. I downloaded the most recent driver from the AMD site it was 12.10 I think, as it said on the file "10-12_mobility_vista_win7_win8....."

JOSEA, my VBIOS is "Video BIOS Version: 012.020.000.032.038352"

So I am up to date, and I just want to download the latest driver, but it doesn't give me the resolution I want. I am confused which one I should be getting, as I would like the most recent one.

I downloaded and installed the 12.11 from Guru3D, still no good this is what happens.

    The old version:

    After installed and Downloaded 12.11:

On this version the screen is really horizontal and ugly.

Have you tried the clean install I mentioned above with 12.11?
OR try creating a new user and login with it to test (If that does not help login with the original profile and delete the new one)

Next time, do a full uninstall of the ATI driver, run Driver Sweeper for the AMD Vid driver, reboot and then install the latest. Your issue was due to legacy registry entries being imported into the driver update, or a legacy library being used.
