    Center Blue Light Power on G73,brightness??

    Can I set the brightness on center blue light under LCD? Luminance?

    I saw different light brightness! And that Is why I asked!? It would be very nice if it could!?

    I don't know if you're asking a question or making a statement at this point.

    The blue light under the screen only turns on and off. Keyboard lights have a few brightness settings though.

    It would be nice if we could make it brighter. Can barely see it when there's something bright on the screen.

    I find it strange that they even put it there. I can barely see it. But if the lid is closed you can see it in all it's glory......weird.

    +1 to this, unusual design. And then they add a unique button just to toggle it on. :confused:

    guys imagine an application making this light blinking to the sounds - music or games - I searched the web for an hour not a trace of such thing - anyone fancy making one? :D do you think that is a good idea?

    There was a program like that for the g1 lights, but I'm not sure you can easily control the light from software on the G73 (the g1 had an ACPI method that was easy enough to call).

    well, so that means this was somehow built-in the drivers, because there is nothing there - or ur talking about app? (ACPI you mean by the panel from which you manage the battery?)

    I notice it a lot, although I only game in a dark room generally...plus, it's a nice sleep indicator.

    The button doesn't toggle the light under the screen only. It also toggles the keyboard backlight, and the blue backlight on the buttons at the top of the body.
