    Change g73 adaptor to right angle

    SO I have a G73 but the power plug that plugs into the laptop power port is straight. Making it so it just goes out the side and not a nice right angle so I can face it back.

    See how that has a nice angle at the end of it? Mine just goes straight.

    Anyway to convert that to a right angle? Is there a right angle adaptor or something?

    That seems a promising accessory to the default G73 adaptor. Let me know if this works if ever you try it =)

    I got one in October and it fell apart 2 months later. I started having problems where i would move the cord at all and the laptop would switch from AC to Battery when i moved it. I thought my Laptop had developed the loose DC jack Problem but It was the right angle adapter instead. My right angle adapter is useless as it works for a bit, gets hot (poor contact) and causes the laptop to trigger the AC/Battery switching. I removed the adapter and have been using the original straight plug and have had 0 Battery mode switches while on AC. that was back in December. I would stick with getting a actual right angle Power Brick that is 150+ watts vs using this adapter. Its poorly made and was kinda loose from the start. It makes bad contact with the negative side as the metal as it is loose in the jack compared to the original. Im sure it probably reduced the life of my DC jack also by hanging loosely since it was slightly angled from it being loose.

    I purchased mine from Bix and not through Amazon or another reseller

    I see, they must have used substandard materials on that right angle adaptor. I think you should try to look at the Targus APA05US 180W Adapter as an alternative for having a right angled adaptor for your G73.
