    I have just seen this. 25/10/11 :(

I have not seen a post made by Chastity on Asus NBR Gaming Forum yet so thought you should all be made aware of this tragic 'temporary' news.

Please post your positive thoughts to wish her well and return ASAP as we all know without her the NBR Asus Gaming Forum will fall apart and crumble ;)

    BRING BACK CHASTITY!

Well that sucks. I'm more curious what her training would be. Chastity could probably school 99% of ASUS support on how to help people. :p

I think nearly everyone's response is going to be similiar to this. She certainly does not need training but its going to be company rules and regulations im sure.

Still it must be tough seeing posts she knows the answer to and not being able to provide the answers, remember when we had the outage for 24-48 hours we all fell to pieces.

So wish her well peeps! :)

I guess I should stop volunteering over there? What's the sense, when Asus won't even update the drivers on their support pages?

Chastity is the heart of the ROG forum, anyway...

I see little reason to even go to ROG forum. Asus customer support is worthless. I don't blame the staff, that's just something with Asus as a company.

All the drivers, fixes I've done on the G73jh were done without the help of Asus support. Well... not quite true, Gary did provide the v93 bios. But the core/mem speeds were sometihng I was experimenting with well before Gary got involved, and unlocking OD was something that I had working well before Gary got involved as well. All the driver updates I do on my own. The trackpad fix was a user solution discovery here on NBR, not discovered by Chastity btw.

So I stand by my feelings on this issue. Asus customer support is worthless. I feel most of their time is spent on trying to sweep the issues their notebook arrive with under the rug.

I've already witnessed Mason and Gary doing their best, but corporate standing in their way and nothing changed. I expect nothing more from Chastity's efforts.

My solution to this problem... I'm switching to Clevo/MSI or Alienware for my next notebook. I'm tired of the lack of support from Asus. RMA'ing a notebook for any issue and having it returned with nothing fixed is not acceptable. I still believe G73jh should have been recalled with all the fixes resolved and then sent back or G73jh users given the option to switch to the G73jw.

When you have learnt to read please learn of the word positive if you have nothing good to say dont bother saying it at all because no one will care this is not about Asus this is about Chastity she was here helping people long before she was 'Asus'

99% of the people on this forum will have at some point been given support and advice from Chastity no matter how arrogant they are (myself included) she gives up her own time on a daily basis to help people.

So again I have to repeat myself if you have best wishes to post please feel free, otherwise please feel free to close the door behind you.

Undoubtedly this is what her training is about as well. She won't be allowed to criticize the company, or say anything that might implicate the company in wrongdoing on the forums. You aren't allowed to have your own opinion when you represent a company.

I'm sure she'll get PR training, but it's probably because the advice from a non trained Asus employee on a forum could backfire at some point. It's probably just some corporate CMA, i don't really mind as long as she gets back to use after training, she has been a great help overall. That probably means no updates for the G series driver & app thread though.
