    Hi all,

Finally got around to expanding the storage on my G751JY, been meaning to put a naked SSD in the same bay as the M2 drive. Was expecting to have to mount it under the existing M2 drive, due to the PCB board length for larger drives, but ended up fitting in nicely.

Was only $70 for a 480GB SSD, 3D TLC but only being used as a steam games drive so not too worried about long term lifespan. The brand is "Inland Professional".

There are threads scattered on here, and on the ROG forum from a while ago, about upgrading and using home made mounting to fit two drives in the bay (like printing a cage for the M2 to allow the new SSD to go underneath) but much easier when the drive is short enough to just plug in and be held happily by tension on the connector. In the old threads I was reading the larger drives had longer PCB length, but guess in the last year or two they have got shorter for the bigger capacities. Hard to know till you crack open the case, so thought it might be handy for any other g751 owners with a M2 SSD wanting a cheap easy upgrade.

Can post a couple of pictures is anyone's interested.
