I know this model is a bit old but it still serves me well, until the '\' key popped out broken. Although I found a replacement one on eBay I rather prefer Chiclet, does anyone know if there's a compatible Chiclet keyboard from newer notebook models?

    Thanks.

I don't know for sure if the G51 keyboard will fit into a G50, they are pretty much the same exact chassis so it might. Again I'm not sure that I've read anyone confirming if it does actually work or fit.

I thought about G51 but the arrows and numeric keypad on G50 is shifted down a little, I wouldn't bother a little gap but as you said I need to know if the keyboard fits.

I don't if it was in this forum but there was a discussion about keyboard backlight on G50, and I think changing to G51 was proposed.
