People say rubbing alcohol seems to work well on the finish but it isn't known if there will be long term effects.

Use a damp cotton cloth. Use alcohol only when there is something you can't clean off with water.

Soft Microfiber cloth and good clean water should take care of almost every surface. If your keyboard is getting really grimy then go ahead and use some alcohol on that.

Best thing you can do is make sure your hands are clean before you use your laptop, and don't eat over it.
