Currently i'm having a lot of problems cleaning the G73.. Basically , i have dandruff so all the stuff falls on it sometimes.. so basically i use a microfilter cloth to pick it up.. my screen gets blotches but i use the microfilter clot too.. i was wondering if there was some cleaner which can clean the G73s rubber coating? i need something from UK's amazon so if anyone has some experience i'd be grateful. Also need some screen cleaner...

Wear a hat when you use your laptop. I only use warm water and a micro fiber cloth on my machine.

Fellowes anti static screen cleaner + microfibre for the rubber coating and screen. Its anti static plus doesnt leave streaks

Cyberclean for the grill, keyboard and ports

Compressed air + LP Needle 22G (to stop the fan from spinning) for the fan and vents

Selsun Blue works great for dandruff. Other products fail in comparison.

    It's a squeezer type thing.

Indeed. It looks silly but don't underestimate how good it actually is, it's like an infinite can of air.

I really recommend to use CyberClean to clean the rubberised palm rest. It did a really decent job for me.

As for the screen, I cleaned the dust off by using the included Asus microfiber cleaning cloth.

You can buy it, or you can distill it yourself. It's really simple.

    Water Distillation

All distilled water is essentially the condensed steam. You know when you boil water and put a cover over it, in a minute or two the lid is sobbing wet underneath?
That's basically it, you just want something to catch that.

heh I think you're missing the point....distilled water doesn't have the minerals and other impurities that can leave residue :)

I get a lot of dust in my speaker bar-holes. Tried using a can of air, but no luck. Any suggestions?

What do you guys recommend to clean the screen? Not just for dust, because I use the microfiber cloth for that, but for those little tiny spots you can't avoid getting from liquid or something, or finger print smudges? I've used some kind of generic screen cleaner wipes from Staples in the past, but it leaves a streak. What I wound up doing was using the wipe, then quickly using the microfiber cloth.

Was wondering if there was a specific product and make that some of you could reccomend for this. Thanks

You can get special liquid for LCD screens etc like this one here I picked up something similiar and have used it on my screen many times and its still mint without even a nick on the screen. Water just does not do the job.

Thanks. So any LCD screen cleaner will do just fine then.
