Hey everyone, I was wondering what would be a good product to clean the rubberized portions of the outer shell. So, what do yall use?

    Spit shine. :D

Seriously though, I catch myself using the "lick-thumb-and-wipe" method a little too much.

My mom and dad wear glasses, so I use the Lenscrafters glasses cleaning solution on my screen and the body of the laptop. You don't need to use the Lenscrafters brand, obviously, but just spray that on a soft lint-free cloth (again, I use the lens cleaning wipes) and you should be good to go.

I think anything alcohol based (don't bring ammonia anywhere near it) and non-aerosol should be good, but don't quote me.

I use hot/warm water with a clean and soft microfiber cloth to clean everything but the screen. I use the little screen cloth (in same hot water) to clean the screen. I prefer to stay away from solutions and chemicals, but some people say 90% alcohol works good for cleaning the palmrest and keyboard when it gets a greasy build up that hot water can't remove.

Seems alcohol and ammonia will degrade your screen.

Best way is to use a soft cloth and just warm water.
