    Cleaning your g73

    So today i saw my g73 and holy crap does it collect dust and a lot of fingerprints and smears :/ so its about that time to clean it does anybody know what to use for the finish of the laptop? im going to use a microfiber towel and some lcd screen cleaning liquid for the screen and probably buy a can of compressed air to blow out all the dust but i dont know with what to clean the actual laptop with anybody help :D

    Warm water and a microfiber cloth should do the trick. Try not to touch the palmrest unless you really have to.

    should i just wet a spot on the cloth or should i damp the whole cloth? and damn a lot of my marks are in the palmrest >.<

    I normally wet a small spot on the cloth and do as Kuro... , then rub gently, so as not to get any liquid near the touch pad. Mine does get sort of greasy but windex does a good job for me.

    Cleaning this model is hard, ust to clean the entire vents I need to take the entire machine apart. Maybe its why I dont game that much anymore, I just dont want to clean it. But no problems since I take it apart in 30min. I cant wait for the day when I sell this thing.

    Tony I agree, Mine is blue screening out of sleep and will not turn on with AC!
    Seems you get 1 thing fix then something else fails :mad: R U going Sager next time around ?

    every model gets filthy with dust and needs to be cleaned and it doesn't take too much time if you know what you are doing and you don't have to open it all the way
