    I have an older G50VT that I'd like to convert to an HTPC but I am running into some issues the Lid and HDMI Settings.

    My goal is that when the G50vt boots up it defaults to HDMI only while the lid is closed but I am just having a hard time getting that to happen consistently..

    any ideas?
