I was searching for a cooling method on the web and I ran across this:

Nexus TDD-9000 Liquid Cooling Pad - Fan Reviews - Tech-Reviews

Then I thought about those common gel bags used for injuries and stuff.
What if I get a notebook-pad-size gel bag to use it as a cooling base?

I was like "daaamn that was my best idea in the past 5 months!" :D
But if people are not already using this, there might be some problems with this cooling "system". What you guys think? I thought about maybe protecting the notebook with some kind of paper towel (ok, something stronger than that) in case of condensation, but not sure if that's gonna happen anyway.

    1 degree?
By using that I meant putting it on a fridge before. Maybe have 2 or more of them to alternate between each use.
It would be better in notebooks where the cooling system is not on the bottom, like the G73, etc.

Using that can cause condensation to collect on the inside portion of the outer case, which isn't a good idea for electronics.

I tried the same thing before on a IDE drive (by putting it on top of the drive) connected to PC through USB adatpor. The HD didn't work well being cool. I forgot exactly what happened. maybe freezed and couldn't access it again until taking the gel off.

I did that sometimes with my old laptop =P I felt like I could push it to the limits with no problems at all.
