Hi all, I have done a little searching and can't find many similar stories, so I thought I would post my own and see if anyone has a fix.

I recently upgraded the video card drivers in my g73sw. I have been playing some Civilization 5 recently, and before I upgraded the drivers I had no problems, after however, after about 10 minutes in game the computer freezes completely and I am forced to manually shut down. When it freezes the speakers emit a mechanical buzz that is as loud or quiet as they were set. This makes it seem like the computer is not entirely frozen up.

Anyways, I rolled back the drivers, tried reinstalling them, but the problem persists. I am looking for any suggestions that anyone may have. I've made sure that all other component drivers are up to date as well as windows... I also updated direct x11. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Will check back for any additional information you may need.
