Hi, after having tons of bad boots etc i decided to format my pc and get a clean install, so far very satisfied with it, gotten rid of all the things i didn't need etc.
But, got one problem, used the modified realtek 2.48 drivers i found in the guide here and followed the steps to install Creative as well, but now i got the problem that Creative says that the current selected audio device is not supported by the application, then gives me a choice to choose another source, but realtek is the only option so guess i ed something up along the road.
Any tips to what i should try?
Dont be afraid of asking for more info.

You do realize the drivers used in that thread are modded, unofficial drivers? And also to use the X-Fi MB software, you are using another software hack to implement?
I totally passed on that "solution". I stuck to using Realtek's 2.55 drivers and HDMI drivers, and using the original Audigy MB software, and updated it with a Win7 update package. -
Yes, i am aware that they are modded drivers, just felt like the best solution at the spot, but the 2.55 drivers and audigy works nicely together these days? saw some posts stating that, but after what happened last time i had both running im a bit sceptical to it, but worth a shot

Chastity, what's the difference with the Win7 Upgrade for Creative Audigy HD MB Software + 2.55 Realtek + 2.55 HDMI drivers from 2.55 Realtek + 2.55 HDMI + stock Creative Audigy?
-
The Win7 Upgrade pack is just that: it updates the components of the stock Creative Audigy MB to be more Windows 7 friendly and stable. It's known that using Bass Boost can cause lockups, and this package fixes that.

Might as well ask it here since its about my clean install.
After i did a clean install i get an annoying warning about my num lock status when i press the num lock button, any ideas on how to make this little box in the bottom right corner not show when i press num lock?
I use it as a key bind in some games hence the annoyance.
Edit: fixed it, smart of me to not google it before posting...
Creative problem (realtek driver not supported) not the common problem.
