    Crucial m4 ssd not being recognized

    So i bought a crucial m4 ssd for my g53sw-xn1 but for reasons that are beyond my understanding it is not being recognized in my bios. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Is the BIOS set to ACHI mode?
    If you have dual hard drive capability, remove the other drive and switch the SSD to the empty bay to test that the SSD is good.

    i also have a crucial m4, are you experiencing problems with booting into windows 7 after the asus splash screen logo?

    guys use the fix in my signature for the c300, should solve some issue for who can at least use it.

    You just have to unzip the attachment I've uploaded, and it will add the requested entry into the register.

    Let me know if you get better performance or not.
