That is, finally is here the final dx11 upgrade for Crysis 2. After I tested all the modes, I must say the performance for me only increased under dx9 since in dx11, same settings performs some way choppy. Still playable, but not smooth as dx9.

Of course my settings are g73jh at 750/1050 gpu (cannot going higher without freezing) and always with both postmsaa=0 and useedgeAA=0. Under dx9, with those setting at 1080p my unit performs excellent with overall setting at High Specs. Of course I can go up with some Extreme settings with not noticeable changes in image quality except for particles.

Now with dx11, same settings as above the game runs some way choppy. Also I'm able to go down and run the the game at 720p in ultra but, in addition to increase the blurry, not noticeable improvement. Of course the tesselation is noticeable but won't blow your mind since some walls (the blocks on them) looks funky.

I will remain in dx9 with the high resolution textures, which are simple awesome.

    Waiting more feebacks

    see ya.

Just for the courios one, here there is a video with the new features in the ultra patch.
