I need to have my motherboard's DC jack re-soldered because it sometimes goes to battery power when plugged in but cord is at certain angle.

I am looking around online for DC jack repairs and wondering if this site is reputable: FastLaptopRepair.com $39 AC / DC Jack / Power Plug Replacement , Laptop / Notebook Repair

All the places seem to want you to mail the laptop with a check, so I don't want to be mailing a scammer.

It is ASUS G73, for some reason some websites are more expensive for ASUS don't know why

Get a DC jack from an online store (e.g. asusparts.eu) and fix it yourself (or let someone with some soldering skills do it) shouldn't be too difficult.
