Does anyone have some creative DIY solution for mounting a secondary harddrive into the G73? I'm using an SSD as primary and can use the stock 500gig as secondary. My best solution was to use the included caddy for the HDD, and use foam and tape to wedge the SSD in "securely"

Honestly you can pretty much put anything there that will fit to hold it in place. Some people earplugs apparently, some get creative with cardboard, I use tape.

Carpet tape works well. Double sided, sticky as anything ...

I used some find of poly foam stuff that came with an Antec case I bought. Just put the HD in and cut a section and kind of stuffed it around the end, kind of like installing insulation around a window. That seems to work really well.

I plan on trying to input it using a HDD cage from a PS3 first. I have no idea if this is gonna work, but seems to me it'd be better than cardboard/foam. If it doesn't I will go from there. I may buy a few bays from the .EU site and have them sent here, that is if anyone wants to split cost.
