    DOA AC/DC Adapter on new G73JW

    Right out of the box on Christmas morning the AC/DC adapter is dead!!! No green light on the brick!! Called and got a RMA already and tech support was real helpful but still on Christmas morning no gaming computer for my son!!

    you have to get a targus 180W universal adapter... it will take quite a while to ship too so really you can't do anything.

    That's too bad, you can get a universal or generic adapter in the meantime. Good luck.

    Yea I was considering that but my son is being good about it.I hope to have the replacement in a week, they said it would be shipped within 48 hours of receipt of my faxed in RMA so I will be doing that tomorrow and hopefully it will ship out Tuesday
