Anyone given this a whirl? I'm curious how it runs - I can't seem to find any youtube videos, and I can't decide between PC or console ... I'd obviously prefer PC, and I'm sure it'll run - but at what quality level?

If it isn't going to look as nice as the console version, I'll pass on the PC.

Even the recommended requirements are pretty low i think. This should run smoothly. Can't wait to get my hands on this one. First was amazing.

It runs butter smooth on my N61Jq with a 5730M. All graphics settings maxed.

runs good at highest settings on g73jw, dont even need OC, but i'm getting lots of random lockups, and everytime i have to force shutdown my laptop.

no overheats or anything, i have the latest nvidia driver (266.58), i can run other steam games completely fine. It seems to be related to USB but im not certain. Heres hoping others experience something similar.

I just bought the game and I can confirm that the game runs smooth as hell on very high settings (max) on a g73jh. Overall, looks better and controls alot better than the first.

Do NOT turn on vsync option in-game because you will be capped @ 30FPS. Instead I used 3doverrider and forced vsync+triple buffering for constant 60fps awesomeness.

Wasn't expecting too much from this game, but from what Ive played so far, its totally blown my mind. Its like Dead Space and Call of Duty 4-7 had a baby. Those real time cutscenes are awesome.

j00zl33t can you give more info about that 3doverrider ?
btw i am always enabling vsync
so vsync gives me a lot drop in frames?

    Yes of course.

Download the latest public build of rivatuner from here RivaTuner

once installed, navigate your way to the program directory
Rivatuner > Tools > D3DOverrider folder. The program is there and is easy to use.

Once opened you just click that little plus sign and add the application and it will force vsync+triple buffering (you can set either on or off). You have to make sure that the program is open while you play the game...dont worry its by no means a memory hog.

For every game I play, i always keep the in-game vsync off and just force it with this program. It has never failed me. Hope that helps.

    aha so rivatuner
i've used that overclocking program for my PC ( nvidia card )
so you are disabling in the game vsync and buffering and enabling it with the rivatuner and it works for every game?

EDIT: can you upload just the utility j00zl33t
i don't want to install Rivatuner
btw i think Rivatuner is old
    you have this version right
    RivaTuner v2.24c / 2009-08-23

yea i have that same version. It probably is not the current public build but it doesn't bother me to have it installed. Im not sure if you can download D3DOverrider by itself but if you can let me know.

hmm..maybe you can just copy the tools folder from Rivatuner, uninstall it, and see if d3d0 works? ...probably wont though due to possibly registry stuff. Just a though really.

I have used this and I don't know if its working well for me. When I benchmark NBA 2k11 using D3DOverider I get my fps to 55fps it does not go up, But when I use Vsync On on the NBA setting I get 63fps. So is it working or not?

did you add the exe file in the program
and when you start the game you will hear a sound noticing you that d3doverider is active ...

    try some more games
    i really haven't benchmarked

yeah i have done that and I hear the sound, I have only warcraft 3 and NBA installed so I dont have games to further experiment with it.
