I'm using a G73JH right now and I'm having this microstuttering issue that's really annoying to me even though I'm running the game at a high framerate. Are there any solutions? I have the latest gpu drivers.

There is a lot of loading in that game; what's the speed of your HDD?

If you're on nvidia, I advice installing 280.36 dev drivers.
The only thing that causes microstuttering is SSAO to high or dx11 tessellation.
Try to max every setting in game but leave AA to Off and SSAO to normal.

Turn of DOF that solved my stuttering issues, you can mess with Buffering and Vsync but I found DOF was the problem.

The game is pretty intensive outside especially as you have a lot of background imaging in the city.

I didn't seem to notice any issues on my JH @1080p. Have been running with the following settings:

SSAO- normal, AA- MLAA, DOF- normal, AS- 4x, Tess- on

One thing you may want to try is the ATI event viewer log issue, as that can slow you down...
