    I saw somebody on the official forums asking about it, but I can't answer because I am banned from the forums (it's not the place to explain why, but it's a pretty stupid case) so I am making a thread about it here.

    Hoping that dude comes here, well his question was is the 5870m compatible with Diablo 3?

    Well yes I just tested it today and it pops a message saying 5000 series something I don't remember and "you should update your drivers". It's no big deal, many games have that kind of message when playing on a laptop. It just doesn't detect it as a 5870 but a 5000 serie. I entered the game without any problems.

    So no worries about it. I hope it answers the question, if that guy comes here.

    one of the beta players is using asus g73jh with 5870m to play it, some of the of the people on hes irc channel asked him, what does he play it on etc(because it looked so good), when he was choosing what class to play next.

    Was on a live stream yesterday.

    beta is out for friends and family.
