Hello there. I am considering buying a G750JW but am a bit confused with the different configs it has. E.g.:

    Asus G750JW 4th Gen Core i7 8GB 750G 17.3 inch Full HD Windows 8 Gaming Laptop - Laptops Direct

    and

    Asus G750JW 4th Gen Core i7 8GB 750GB 17.3 inch Windows 8 Gaming Laptop - Laptops Direct

or namely the T4042H vs T5043H. Specs seem the same across both models, only difference I can spot is one screen says "full HD" the other doesn't. HOwever if you dig further on the above links, both are listed as 1080p displays, so...

Any insight would be appreciated. Additionally, if anybody knows of a dependable reseller of G750s in the UK, that would be great as google gives me very dodgy-looking websites.

Thank you very much in advance.

whatever you do, make sure you do not get the ASUS matte screen, their matte screens suck big time

read my story here ASUS ended giving me a new laptop for flying my mobo when trying to change from the matte screen to the 3D Screen

I bought a G75VW last year matte screen and I didn't know it was that crappy as if someone spilt grease over it. colors look washed out and its plain fugly to look at

now with my 3D screen glossy it's a diff. world! i love looking at the screen!

Thanks for the tip, though that still doesn't answer my question :). Would be nice if there was a catalogue of all configurations somewhere.

Sometimes, the details are hard to find, it could be the SKUs were initially meant for different resellers or it could be other things: amount of RAM, HDD size, included accessories, slightly different GPUs, etc. Unless a member has bought one, we have to hunt down the detailed spec sheets on various websites, etc. which honestly, I don't really bother doing anymore.

    mine is the G750JX-CV050H

I would call them as they may also have no listed one correctly.
