I'm swapping a dc power input plug on a G51v for a friend. Was online looking for a matching plug and am finding nothing for the G51v, but Ebay has plugs for the G51 and the G51vx.
DC POWER JACK PORT ASUS G51 G51VX G60 G60VX NEW!! | eBay ($14.50 is a ripoff, should be about $.50)
Does anyone know if there is a mobo/input power difference between the v and the vx?
I have already pulled the mobo, and verified that I need a new jack. I am doing the soldering myself.

The G51Vx is the first model of the G51. After that there is the G51J and G51Jx. There is no plain V "G51V" model.

The jack should be exactly the same across all of those models.
