I have been getting this error since the last 2 drivers 11.6 and 11.7, "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)".

There was a previous thread I had on this issue but I can't find it. I had been keeping my laptop on test mode since 11.6 and thought it would be solved on 11.7 but no it didn't work. So I decided to re install windows because that normally solves most of my 'un-fixable' problems. Doing that still didn't work.

Please I need help fixing this.

Uninstall the drivers. Reboot. Run the ATI Crap Cleaner (on my driver page) Then install the 11.8 Preview pack. (also on my page) Reboot.

I think you have some legacy file / setting issue.
