What's the best way to utilize the digital output?

Currently i'm just using the standard single audio port, does that incorporate the EAX HD and the audio chip on the Graphics card ?

    Thanks!

you could use HDMI too.. i'm quite sure the audio port's ok but HDMI should be a better option anyways.

The Line-Out over toslink is limited to stereo PCM, and does not have drivers to do multichannel.

The HDMI supports 8-ch LPCM, but requires an external receiver with HDMI.
