    Disabling touchpad on G74SX-XR1?

    Quick question: How do I disable the touchpad on my G74SX-XR1? I use an external mouse and it ends up just getting in the way.

    On my g73 it's Fn+f9

    If the G74 uses synaptics software, there may also be a setting in the control panel - mouse dialog. (something like disable touchpad if USB mouse is attached)

    Or if you permanently use an external mouse, you can disable your touchpad in the bios.
