So after a clean install of windows and reinstall all the g73jh important drivers from the Chastity's driver CD. I decided to install the new graphics driver catalyst 11.5 because dirt 3 doesn't work well on the stock driver (some sort of color problem, am seeing blue and red paint like colors and there is no road).

After uninstalling the display adapter(then rebooting; display driver was back to VGA), using driver sweep(then rebooting) and installing ATI catalyst 11.5b hotfix from guru3d (then rebooting).

I get and error message saying 'No ATI graphics driver is installed, or the ATI driver is no functioning properly. Please install the ATI driver appropriate for your ATI hardware'

I don't know what to do to solve this problem. On the device manager window I see and exclamation mark in a yellow triangle next to ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5800 Series.

You have to spoon feed this driver to the gpu from the device manager. This used to be my experience with ATI gpu drivers. I remember that yellow triangle with with exclamation even after installing the driver..

Right click the ATI with the triangle, properties, install or update driver and direct it (location) of where the driver was installed. (i.e. C:, program files, system, etc..) Look for the driver folder.

That didn't solve the problem. But when I used the Asus G73JH driver CD to install the stock display driver it works normally.

@chinanu1 Maybe you need to upgrade your VBIOS.

Is there a new one? I did it previously some months ago. But do I have to do it again after a clean install. (I don't think so).

If you upgraded your VBIOS that stays no matter what you do to your software.

The ATI drivers can be troublesome to install using their installer. If you pointed device manager to the INF in the folder where the installer extracts, that should have worked as long as your VBIOS is the beta one or newer.

I tried this when I was following the first guy's method. It installed it but it still had that yellow triangle and exclamation mark next to it.

I also want to point out something weird:
I clearly remember that when I install Ati display drivers my screen normally flickers but none of that has been happened after the clean installation only when I installed the stock driver.

The drivers I tried are 10.4(which has always worked screen but doesn't even flicker when downgrading from 11.4 or 11.5), 11.4 (which I used previously b4 clean install but not working now screen doesn't even flicker), 11.5 (fails at installing display driver), 11.5b hotfix (success in installing display driver but screen doesn't flicker).

After rebooting after installing each time after installing each of them 10.4 works, 11.4 and 11.5b installs drivers but give me and error 'No ATI graphics driver is installed, or the ATI driver is no functioning properly. Please install the ATI driver appropriate for your ATI hardware'. 11.5 doesn't install drivers still remains as VGA.

    1) Download the AMD 11.5b RC5 Hotfix package on my Driver page.
    2) Download ATI Crap Cleaner on same page.
    3) Uninstall the stock AMD driver.
    4) Reboot.
    5) Run ATI Crap Cleaner
    6) Run 11.5b Installer
    7) ???
    8) PROFIT!!

If it still doesn't want to install, let me know and I'll put up a modded driver package.

Haha!!! I got the solution. I have been trying to install service pack 1 for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit but I've been having trouble installing it and some days ago my windows update kept giving me and error "Windows update can not currently check for updates, because the service is not currently running".

So to try and fix it I wanted to open the windows repair window after rebooting the system and pressing F8 and to my very eyes I say " Disable Driver Signature Enforcement . I selected it gracefully and BAM!!, the every beautiful resolution of my G73 was visible :)

What troubles me is that the AMD packs should be signed, and you never should have gotten that error. Only time that shows up is in modded driver packs and packs with errors. Weird.
