Okay, so I have had this gaming laptop for coming on three years now.
For a few weeks, I started having a problem where occasionally my screen would go black and then return to normal, and in the bottom right corner a little yellow triangle with an exclamation point would pop up and say that my display driver has stopped responding and recovered.

Lately now, it happens much more frequently, and then inevitably the screen goes black and stays black for a minute before crashing to a blue screen that looks like this:

(Not my image. My laptop has an NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GS/GT.)

So now I can only get on my laptop for a few minutes at a time before strange green lines appear all over my screen and it blue screens.

    The weird part:
So, I assumed that the graphics card was just bad. I couldn't see anything wrong with it. Somehow I got to the point where I couldn't even get my laptop to turn on. So I just stuck it in my laptop bag and slid it under my desk for a week.
Two nights ago, I got bored and pulled it out and decided to see if it would turn on. And it did.
Not only that, but after about an hour of use, I encountered no issues whatsoever with the display driver.
So I left it off and charging over night.
Yesterday around 10am, I turned it back on and waited (expected to see the blue screen, or at least the black screen). And there was no problems at all.

I was even able to get in little over an hour of Fable 3 play time and some Champions Online in.
It was perfect until 7pm. Then it started to black screen on me, saying the display driver stopped responding. And then blue screen.

So now I am back to where I started.
I had hoped maybe it was a battery issue or something. Tried every combo: AC+Battery, AC and no battery, No AC and battery. No change.

Can anyone help me out here?
What would cause my laptop to suddenly work all day long and then just crap out like that again?
