I never turn off the blue lightball which is on the top of the laptop and it is barelly visible and couple of days ago i was like why do i even keep it turned on all the time

also i have my keyboard led turned on all the time (in daylight too)
so i am asking are there any bad sides from this?

and what is the power consumption ? becouse it would probably make difference when on baterry

Blue light ball? Are you talking about the light bar above the keyboard under the asus logo? If so, then yeah, I always have it on.

As far as keyboard lights, its always off for me. Ive only needed to turn it on a few times when I was playing in the dark. But i highly doubt having it on all the time would have negative effects on the machine other than reduced battery life.
