    Does the G73 comes with a Win7 Disk? Or is that something you burn with the AI recovery software. If not how do I get a stand alone Windows disk?

    would it be just as good if i got an OEM windows 7 home premium and used the key on the bottom of the laptop?

    Yup,
    That will work - From what I understand the "KEY" is the controlling factor in the process. From my own experience, you could have a Win7 Ultimate disk and input a Home Premium Key and it will work, obviously, it won't have the "Ultimate" feature set, but only the "Home Premium" feature set.

    I bought my G73jh through PowerNotebooks.com and it came with the genuine Windows 7 64bit disk. ;)

    You have to install the same version as the key, that means for a Home Premium Key you have to select "Windows Home Premium" during the installation with the "Universal Windows 7 Install DVD".
