    Does the G51JX-X1 have stereo mix (wave out/what you hear)?

    I'm on a G50vt and I have Stereo Mix listed in the recording device page. Realtek HD Audio is on all G5x series laptops afaik.

    Most laptops I've seen with some type of HD soundcard don't have stereo mix. Thank you. You really cleared some things up.

    Np, I doubt they changed things much since the G50vt. Maybe you can go into Best Buy or something (if you're in the US) and double check. :)

    Open your sound properties, recording tab and right-click the empty space where the devices are. Select show disabled devices. Enable stereo mix.
