How does one even flash a BIOS with EZ Flash 3 embedded in the current BIOS? Whatever version I put it says that it's not a valid BIOS file.

I am getting this error both for downgrading BIOS (from 308 to 306) and for upgrading (from 308 to 310).
Yes, my USB stick is FAT32.

Anyone has any idea what am I missing ?
My machine is, according to Asus Serial Number ID, a Zephyrus S GX701GXR.

I am trying to downgrade because v308 (my current version) does not allow to undervolt the gaming machine. Which is ridiculous given the well known thermal issues with Asus. On this forum it has been documented that whoever unwittingly upgraded to v307 and above has to downgrade in order to be able to undervolt again.
    Thanks in advance.
