Yesterday, when i was playing Modern Warfare 3 on my G73 and suddenly everything went off, i could not start the machine again for at least awhile, i directed right away: Overheated.
I saw couple thread in this forum and found out that i will have to do the repasting. 75'c idle is not okay at all. Okay... I had to repasted my old G51 in the past so at least i know which to expect.
Okay. But i have a problem, i think some of you might know that i used to have my BIOS Crashed when i was at Vietnam, so i actually had my G73 mainboard reflashed by ASUS Vietnam under my 2-year global warranty, but they sticked one of the stamp on the HDD bay, right outside like this:

So i want to ask, will it void the warranty if i just erase the thing? Because that sticker is new, it never on my machine ever before.
So, yeah, any help would be great. RMA this time is just painful :(

You should start by cleaning your vents before attempting a repaste. Removing this sticker will not void your warranty as that panel allows access to the drives and RAM.

I also did a resize of your image as a clickable thumbnail, it was way too big compared to what we allow, it has to fit on 720p lcds ;).

Follow the instructions in this video: G73 clean out - YouTube

For the warranty voiding question, see the edit of my previous post.

No problem for the picture, it is a common occurrence by new members, especially for those viewing it on a 1080p lcd. I use my N50 when i'm relaxing on my bed and that's when too large images are easily noticeable, otherwise it's possible i might miss them.

Ya, thanks for the video, i don't have the compressed air right here but have some air cans left and i was able to blow out some dust off the vents.
It worked somehow, my idle now drop from 77 to 57 , just by blowing off some dust. i think i will buy one and clean the whole thing tomorrow, thanks for the tip.
    Going desktop soon tho.
