    FN keys slow to respond...

Hey, I'm just throwing it out there in case I can get a quick response, otherwise I'm just going to reload Windows this evening...

My issue is this. When I use the FN hotkeys for volume control or most other functions (IE disable touchpad), the actual response time for the hotkey to actually register and bring up the display and perform the function is like 5 seconds. This is incredibly annoying because I can't raise or lower the volume because each keypress takes 5 seconds to register and it only goes down one notch at a time.

This was all working fine until I decided to mess with my Creative software last night to try a newer version (X-fi 2.1) and after getting into a situation where I kept getting the no supported device found type issues, I just decided to do a system restore.

Not only did the System Restore NOT fix my Creative issues, but I believe it led to my current issue with the FN keys.

I was able to get my Creative software working finally with a combo of driversweeper, CCleaner, and deleting EVERY instance of Creative from my registry and installing the previously non-working version, but my FN keys are completely screwy.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled the ATK package and reinstalled the KBfilt driver, but it hasn't helped. Otherwise EVERYTHING is working great, but I simply cannot live with non-functional/unresponsive FN keys.

If someone sees this and has run into the issue before, please respond, you'll save me a reload.

Well, I reloaded windows and all is well again... Frustrating because everything else was working fine, but at least now I have a clean setup/registry.
