Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be involved with moving from NY to CA to start my new career with Asus' Tech Support Division. My online time will be spotty at best, so please don't expect prompt responses while I'm settling in and having to go shopping for furniture and such. :)

Best of luck with the move. 11 years in the military and I'm still not fond of it.

You going to be driving? If so lots of pics are needed!!

Grats Chastity! I haven't been keeping up with the latest here in the Asus gaming notebook section, good to see you're working at Asus now though.

Aww, I miss the west coast. As a frequent visitor to this forum (but seldom posting), a big thank you for all the cool stuff you've posted about the G73J! Should be even sweeter now that you are on the inside??

I'm not sure yet what the policy is going to be. I'm what is called a Tier-3 tech, which means I deal with stuff that went through the normal RMA chain first. I'm sure I could issue RMA's and send them my way if need be. But, let's first see what my duties will be exactly. I know one of them will be reviewing BBB complaints and such.

Another one will be maintaining a first-contact position on the forums, so I guess I'll eventually upgrade my acct here to a Corporate Sponsor one like Gary has. I can just see all the RMA requests for Fremont coming in for repastes with my name attached. :D No guarantees on the keyboards surviving, tho I have gotten a lot better. :snickerz:

Andy from ICD sent me 5 tubes of ICD-24 to get started. :)

Excellent! Good luck at ASUS. I'm close to Fremont (San Jose), so its nice to have a contact close by in case my G73 ever goes wonky. Darn, should have replaced my rattling fan when I had the warranty still :(

You'd be surprised how many Kroger subsidiaries there are; and yes, they have many in the west :)

Good luck and welcome to the West Coast ! :D
