    Hello,

Someone who has the stock TIM on their i7-720QM without any SetFSB overlcocking please test with OCCT.

Just 10-20 minutes is fine. Please use the high priority and use the Turbo with Asus Hybrid Power4Gear.

Let me know what temps you get.

    Thanks,

    Ziddy

I'll post a link to my screenshot: Ambient temp is 65F or about 18.3C here.

I do not want to know that the CPU overheats. I will be sorely tempted to tear the tamper sticker off and repaste it. Therefore I'm putting my fingers in my ears and I can't hear you! La La La La La La :p

I wouldn't worry too much about the tamper sticker. It all depends who you get if you have to rma it. I didn't rip off my sticker when I repasted but rather just peeled it back enough to get the screw off. It still looked a little wrinkled when I put it back on though.

When I sent it in for rma they repasted my cpu and stuck another tamper sticker on over the old one.

Mine got hot. Slightly high ambient here at 75 F (23 C). The thumbnails should tell everything you need/want to know. If you don't stay banned.

 Maybe my high 60's/low 70's with spikes to the mid 70's while rendering could be worse ;) They are 5-7C higher than on my previous G73s.

I was looking around and seen ziddy with the "special color", we'll call it.
