Decided to sell the T9800 and put the stock P7350 back in. I got 11,267 with the T9800 stock so 10,012 with the P7350 OC'd to 2.5 ghz isn't bad at all. Only thing I did was use setfsb and changed the numbers to 580/760. The zalman nc2000 cooler seems to have droped the temps a few degrees celcius also.

I wonder if most people's temp problems are because they are using HWMonitor because the temps seem to be off from the other two temp monitor's I'm running?

Open up HWMonitor's ini file in notepad and change the TJMAX value to 90.0.

Mahtson I owe you a big thanks. I wish I would have known that before I reapplied thermal paste 3 times today while reinstalling the P7350.

On a side note, it really doesn't matter how you apply thermal paste. A pea size, spread thin or a line because they all produced the same temps. Oh well, I get to do it all over again next week as soon as the MX-3 paste I just ordered gets here.

That was the highest I could go before I got the BSOD. I'm sure I could OC the GPU to take it to close to 11,000 but I'll leave it at that. I was just trying to see if I could break 10,000. I keep the cpu at 2.25 ghz. I've really been amazed at what this laptop is capable of especially since I bought it off ebay for $550 as a Best Buy store return.

So far it's handled every game I've thrown at it with ease and that's the main reason I bought it.

I built and OC'd my desktop last year and with a Q6600 and a pair of radeon 4830's I get in the 18,000's in 3dmark06 but I'm also using a 700 watt power supply and have 7 fans in the case. :D

Now run the benchmark at 1280x1024, the standard, and then we can start talking.

That's the highest resolution I can go up to on my laptop. I'd have to connect it to an external monitor. My desktop monitor is 1920x1200 but I've already got a computer for it. I'm just waiting on the games to be made at it's native resolution :D Ah, I may try it when winter rolls around that way I'll be able to turn off my heating unit for the house because stressing this thing can really crank out some heat. :swoon:
