Well after take'n Dallers advice i am going to save for a 940MX CPU.
So i went ahead and re-pasted my GPU and CPU WOW  i never sweated so much in my life was not that hard just didn't what to bugger anything up!.
Well my CPU and GPU temps are about 10 to 9 degree Celsius (°C) lower i just got done now for a full night of gaming to test it out and hopefully i get no lock-up's or screen junk going to leave my laptop cooler off to.

Here is the video i used to help me :

That video is a good one but you do not need to bend the keyboard as they show in that video lol

Good to hear you are getting better temps but my advice is always to get the 920XM not the 940XM because you can still reach the same clocks the 940XM can when the multipliers are unlocked and there is a big difference is price.

Another post that supports our theory that repasting makes a difference :)

920 indeed, I am making the last payment on my loan this month and going to treat myself to an SSD and just stick with my 900p screen I have decided.

I think many of us can easily hold on till the G75.

Na I had a loan for modified cars back when petrol wasn't stupidly priced cos now I walk everywhere lol but still had to pay off the debt.

Extra £200 a month will be nice need to do some research on SSD's though as I haven't got a clue and want a nice one that will last me.

Thats a thermal pad and well its up to you. If you do not want to rework the heatsink i would keep it there + if you remove it then you run the risk of damaging the core.

Im running wothout the pads. Had to modify the heatsink so it would cover the Vram. So far so good lol :D

If you remove the pads from the RAM they will could overheat and be damaged.

You can not use paste in place of pads because paste is not usable for filling gaps that wide. It will not stay in place.
