My friend wants me to repair his g50. He said it fell on the hinge and it broke. The PC is still fully functional, but the metal LCD hinge is broken making it akward/risky when opening the laptop.

Where can I buy the hinge alone? I see an entire frame on ebay, but thats $129.99.............. I think thats kinda overkill when I need a part the weight of a US Quarter.

Useless Info: I have the G73, its awesome!

You can occasionally find them on ebay. A g51 hinge should work too.

It's the same chassis, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. ;)
