I have an old G1Sn laptop and want to upgrade to Windows 7. I've heard of issues regarding the audio driver, that sound doesn't output though the speakers. Anyone have any updates? Or any other issues?
Thanks!

My v1s with similar specs had no problems with 32bit windows 7. A few of the drivers were hard to find and I had to use a lot of vista drivers, but in the end it worked.

Vista drivers are very likely to be backwards-compatible with Windows 7 drivers. I'm still using Vista drivers for some of my hardware on my G50vt without any problems (which is why I don't feel the need to upgrade them to official Win7 drivers).

I guess the reason I ask is that some people had issues with the Audio Driver. Sound wouldn't come out of the built in speakers, only through the headphone jack.
