Ok so I've had my G50 for a while and for a while it was a great gaming (WoW) laptop. However lately I've noticed significant drop in FPS about 10 minutes into my gaming session. Speed fan normally shows my GPU over 100 degrees usually aroun d 104-106. Anyways I decided to try to clean out the fan and since have had no improvement in temps. What really baffles me though is that NB Probe always shows the fan on in low and quiet mode.

    Anyone have any advice?

Also while I had the fan off I replaced the thermal grease but the thermal pad did look a little shot so I am going to try to replace that tomorrow.

    Thanks for any help.
