Hi there, i have windows 7 ultimate on my asus g50vt but the drivers are not really here. i have searched online, the hotkeys at the top dont work and the main purpose mini lcd which can display your msn messages and stuff.

Can someone please give me a download link or something
    Many thanks!

Well, Try out the win 7 ATK drivers for the G51 off Asus's support site they should work. The main files you need to get the hot keys working are the ATKACPI.driver install it first. Then install the ATK hot key utility and your hot keys should function. As for your little OLED display I think the Direct Message and Direct Flash Utility drivers from the G50vt utilities download link should work for you.

Yeah you need anything that starts with Direct I believe. DirectConsole/Message should be a good start. Get them from Asus' support site.
If you're up for it you can personalize your OLED screen using LCDHype. You'll have to google for that one, I don't have links ready.

Republic of gamers site? lol :D go to ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

using the drop down menu' select notebook from the first, select g51 from the second, g51jx from the next, at pop up select win 7 64(assuming 64 if not then just win7),click + next to ATK, download all in that, install ATKACPI.driver 1st then all the others and they (hot keys) should work. If restart comes up at any time during your installs restart, if not restart anyway.

That happens... you'll have to remove it by hand. The uninstall information is probably corrupted.

Go to the program folder and delete the files for the drivers/programs that won't uninstall. You can also try uninstalling/repairing a few times in a row. You might have to remove the uninstall information from the registry.

Definitely do a disk check, too.

Just search for the name of the utility you are having trouble with in the registry to find its entries.
