    Hi guys,

I left the laptop in hibernation for a few days, and now when I turn it back on I notice that it's running off the battery and won't charge. It didn't have this issue before. I've tried wiggling the power jack, the cords on the power adapter, and nothing seems to work.

    Any ideas?

EDIT: I also noticed that some settings on my computer mysteriously changed. The desktop picture changed to some silver ASUS picture, and the taskbar had auto-hide enabled. I have no idea why. Nobody else uses this computer but me, so I don't understand why it's acting so strange.

power4gear has different profiles and settings that will change your desktop background.

Try powering off your laptop completely and remove the battery and ac adapter for at least 30 seconds.

Plug the battery and ac back in and with it off, see if it charges the battery (the charging LED will come on in the front).
