    Greetings,

I have poked around here for a few days, and have certainly read enough to be worried about the GPU on this machine. With that being said, I havent seen the exact same conditions that I am experiencing. So, here goes: When powering the machine on, the indicator lights come on, the DVD drive starts and stops, but then it seems to hang up. The display never shows anything, and you don't even get the Republic of Gamers graphic or sound. If I hook up an external monitor, still nothing. Looking for a little direction if possible for troubleshooting. The laptop is a used machine that I have had for approx 2 months.

Try one stick of RAM at a time, maybe one has gone bad.

There is a reset hole at the bottom you can poke for 10+ seconds with a paperclip.

Check if the fan spins up when it turns on.

You can also try removing the hard drives.
