This fix was quoted from GenTechPC by ClutchX2

Does this need to be done every time the computer is booted up, or just after the 2nd HDD has been installed and then never again?

I want to put a RAID1 on my G50VT-X5 but I want to know what I'm getting into before I buy the 2nd HDD.

I just had to say if it was at me PM me but now I notice with your post count you probably couldn't have. Sorry I was so slow at noticing your post I don't actually read threads anymore lol.

Yeah Ive never even had to mess with it since the first or second time i did it. I have swapped drives a few times since.

Yea, I actually searched for about 20 mins trying to find out why I couldn't PM you.

It's surprising that this is such a common problem and (as far as I've been able to find) there are only two or three posts (and only on this forum) with solutions.

Thank you for getting back about it anyway, GenTechPC only beat you by ~2 hours and I e-mailed him :p
