Just got refurbished G50vt from comp geek.
It runs fine but seems like its overheating really bad.
Its running cpu temp of 93'C just surfing internet and gpu temp of 114'C
I don't hear any fan running so I'm guessing fan is not working?
Does this laptop come with fan inside? I see big fake sub and nothing else.

i got a refurb also, but from geeks.com.. you have a 3month warranty.. when i got mine it turned out to be a smokers model, my heatsink and fan was horribly clogged up, if you are ok with it you can just open the bottom panel and look and see, my guess is your heatsink is also plugged.
either way i'd submit it in for warranty, you only have 90 days.. get it in and get it fixed.
mine only took 8 days from ship to receive back, they replaced the vga thermal unit (has the fan) and the motherboard. Works great now. -
Yes there should definitely be a functioning fan inside. It's not a silent laptop. I also say RMA it.

Yes I have a G50VT and it has an audible fan. Most certainly return that bad boy....
