    G51 No Sound?

    My speakers have suddenly stopped working. Read through this thread trying to find a solution, but no cigar.

    This picture comes from that thread, but my image looks like that only when I plug in headphones.

    If I unplug the headphones, they all go gray and I get a message, "You just unplugged a device from the audio jack."

    I still cannot hear sound from the internal speakers though. Not sure what is wrong.

    EDIT:
    Did the registry edit trick and it worked. Why would this work when windows is not showing it as a stuck jack?

    Have you tried the BIOS solution prior to the registry hack?
